Specifically, writing #goals.
I have just moved back home after spending almost a year living on the opposite side of the country in a busy, vibrant city. Now I find myself stranded (kind of) in the countryside (yes those are my chickens) for six months – a writer’s dream? Maybe. I need to find a new job (yikes), but what I really want to do is make the most of this time to produce as much writing as I can.
So my #goal is to write a collection of (no less than) eight short stories by the end of March 2017.
Actually when you write it out like that and read it back it doesn’t sound so bad. But like I said, I also need to find a job, work towards a legal qualification (hopefully), and figure out how to live with my mother (double yikes).
I plan on using this blog to keep track of my progress, motivate myself, figure out what works for me and hopefully meet some likeminded writers to share tips and compare experiences with. With that said, if you guys have any advice on how to meet your writing goals please comment below or feel free to send me a message! I hope we can chat.
It’s 15:28 and so far my word count for the day is 239 so I better get back to work.
Welcome to (what will hopefully become) the chronicles of my novella.
